David is a PE teacher and athletic director at Rothesay Netherwood School. He is past president of the Middle School Physical Education Teachers Council (MPEC) for District 8. David’s sporting resume includes: 20-time tournament director for the River Valley Hoop Classic, a 3 time tournament director for BNB Middle School Provincials, Lancaster Minor Basketball Association (LMBA) Board member, 5 time LMBA Kean Basketball Tournament Chair, 15 time race director for the River Valley Rave Run (ANB event), a 5 time race director for ANB Provincial 5km road race, and a 3 time race director for ANB Provincial Middle School Cross Country Championships.

Jason is currently a Realtor with Royal LePage Atlantic, Past Chair of the Canadian Real Estate Association. He has been sponsorship chair for the past 12 years of the NBIAA Final 12 Basketball Championships. He has a love for coaching and has coached 4 years in the Lancaster Minor Basketball Association, 1 year as the head coach of the Millidgeville North Stars middle school, and 12 years as the head coach of the Saint John High School varsity girls basketball team. He is proud graduate of UNBSJ. Jason has, in the past, served on the Advisory Committee for the P.R.O. Kids Saint John. Jason is most proud of receiving numerous awards in the real estate profession. Nationally he was honored to be the 2020 A.E. REALTOR© of The Year award that is presented from Royal Lepage Head office. This prestigious award recognizes the best of the best of Royal LePage REALTORS® based on productivity, leadership, and brand engagement. Provincially 2020 he received the New Brunswick Real Estate David Hawkins Award-Recognizing Outstanding contribution to the New Brunswick Real Estate Industry. Locally he was most privileged to be awarded the first ever Harold Coughlan Award of Excellence presented by The Saint John Real Estate Board in 2018. When not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, relaxing at the beach, at his backyard bonfire, and watching sports. Jason and his wife Heather live in the Saint John area with their two children.


Peter Vincent, Treasurer
Years: 2011-Present

Peter has been a dedicated coach in and around the Saint John area for more than 20 years. His list of accomplishments include: UNBSJ Men’s team (recently retired); 6 Seasons with SJHS senior boys team; several years with the BNB Provincial Team Programs; 5 years as Head Coach of Rothesay senior Boys; numerous coaching positions with KVBA Rep Program and Harry Miller Middle School; and has held positions with the Canada Basketball Center for Performance. He is a Level 3 (Train to Compete) certified coach, past president of the NBIAA Basketball Coaches Association, and has received a Coach of the Year Award from the NBIAA Coaches Association, a BNB Special Merit Award, and a Town of Quispamsis Volunteer Recognition Award.


Dan Patterson, Secretary
Years: 2011-Present

Dan is currently a High School PE teacher at St. Malachy’s Memorial High School. He has been the Secretary for the past 13 successful Final 12 events. Dan’s list of accomplishments includes: current President of the NBAABO, former Zone 4 representative for the NBAABO, officiated at AUS and CIS men’s and women’s tournaments, has officiated at numerous Basketball Canada National Tournaments at the midget and juvenile levels, former Chairperson and committee member for the Dave and Bridget Kean Memorial Tournament during its 20+ years.


Nancy Morrison, Site Manager
Years: 2023-Present

Nancy taught for 34 years at Kennebecasis Valley High School serving as the Athletic Director from 1998-2018. In this role, she organized numerous invitational and provincial championships at KVHS. Nancy is a table official for various pro basketball teams that play in Saint John. She is a member of the Saint John Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee and serves as a billet family for the Saint John Seadogs. Nancy officiates multiple sports attending numerous provincial and national events in basketball, volleyball, ball hockey and softball. She became an internationally certified softball umpire in 1998 and officiated at a Pan Am Games, a World Championship, an Olympic Qualifier and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Nancy is a member of the Saint John and New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame.


Lori Wall, Site Manager
Years: 2023-Present

Lori has recently retired from Education after 35 plus years. She has been involved in coaching basketball for the last 37 years where she coached middle school, high school and has been to 3 Canada Games. She was also actively involved in the Canada Basketball Centre of Performance program. She has been involved with Basketball New Brunswick coaching at many levels and currently is the president. Lori has also been involved with the MWBA as game day coordinator, and as the game day stats person for the Saint John Mill Rats, Riptide and the newly formed Saint John Union.


Paul Vaughan, Information Technology
Years: 2011-Present

Paul is a former IT professional who is currently the head coach of the men’s varsity basketball team at UNB Saint John. Prior to joining the Seawolves, Paul coached at KVHS (2003-2023), Saint John Mill Rats / Riptide (2010-2017), and Basketball NB (2010-2014, 2017). Paul has also been active off the court serving on the KVBA Board of Directors (1994-2013), Basketball Board of Directors (2005-2009), President of the Saint John men’s league (1993-2005).


Darlene Shiels, Game Day Operations

Darlene Shiels was involved with the Minor organizations as board member and president. Darlene was a referee with NBAABO for 20+ years and helped teach and mentor young officials. Darlene has been working behind the scenes on game day as needed since the Final 12 came to Saint John.


Debbie McLeod, Team Social

Debbie has been involved with basketball for over 20 years. She coached minor rep teams and house teams for Lancaster Minor Basketball Association -LMBA . She also served on the Board of the LMBA. Debbie also coached the women’s JV program at SJHS and coached at several middle school’s. Debbie has been involved with the Final 12 assisting with the Banquet and Reception.


Emily Shiels, VIP and Hospitality Room
Years: 2022-present

Having been a volunteer at past Final 12 events, Emily has been involved since Saint John first won the bid as a Final 8 Event. She brings youth and excitement to the role that has been part of her February routine for the past 13 years.
