Memories of the triple-overtime loss to Rothesay the last time they were here have been erased as Woodstock claims AA Boys title.
The First Town boys came out flying and held the Titans at bay to capture the AA crown. The first quarter went to the Thunder 25 – 8. The second quarter would favour Tantramar 14 – 12, with a halftime score of 37 – 22.
In the third, the Thunder would put the game out of reach. Woodstock came out and dominated the third 23 – 7. The Thunder were now 10 minutes away from the championship. The fourth quarter saw Woodstock score 19 and Tantramar 14. Make the final Thunder 79, Titans 43.
The Thunder were led by Daniel Hawkes who took home Player of the Game honour and led all scorers with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Alex Vadureanu added 18 points and 10 Rebounds for a double-double for the Thunder.
Tantramar Regional Titans were led by Player of the Game Luc Swanson who scored 14 points and Carlos Ponton-Arndt who added 13.
