The Fredericton Christian Academy Eagles got the early lead, Petitcodiac kept it close, but FCA kept the defensive pressure up to pull away in this one to earn first single A girls title in school history.
FCA came out early and Petitcodiac responded in the first quarter as the Eagles took a 16 – 12 lead after 10 minutes of play. It looked like FCA was going to end things in the first half as they built a a 25 – 14 quickly in the 2nd period, but then the Cougars responded to end the first half with FCA up 30 – 23.
The third quarter looked a lot like the second as the Eagles built a 41 -27 lead, but the Panthers fought back to close the gap to 10, we would be heading into the 4th with the Eagles up 41 – 31. Fredericton Christian had enough in the 4th and this time they dominate the full quarter, taking the quarter 19 – 2 and winning the game 60 – 33.
