You never know when the run is coming.
For the Tantramar Regional High Titans of Sackville, it came in the second quarter.
The Tians outscored École Sainte-Anne Castors of Fredericton, 31-17 in that second frame and used that arsenal to hang on down the stretch, winning 76-72 and claiming the New Brunswick Final 12 AA championship at Harbour Station.
Tantramar held a 46-39 lead at halftime in the wide-open affair.
Cohen Patterson popped 16 points to spark the Titan attack. Flashy Seamus Lyon and Lucas Cormier had 13 apiece and Carlos Ponton-Arndt had 11. Cormier added 10 rebounds.
École Sainte-Anne had five players break doubled digits in scoring.
Emre Bengu paved the way with 17 and Justin Rioux had 16. Keeghan Their, Charles Mayaliwa and Zachary Vautour all had 11.
