Mathieu-Martin Gets Redemption With Win Over Riverview

Mathieu-Martin Girls come back hungry for redemption this year win over Riverview 70 – 32.
After a tight first quarter with the Vedettes only up by 3 on the Royals, they found their rhythm and took off.
Once the Vedettes found their groove it was hard to contain them. The Royals pushed hard but just could not hold them down. After a tough 22-6 quarter, the Vedettes lead continued to grow. Going into the second half 40-21.
The Vedettes continued to build their lead in the 3rd making it 56-26. The Royals fought hard and strong but could not dig themselves out. With a low 14-6 quarter for the Vedettes, they take the win 70-32 for the championship tittle.
The Vedettes were led by SSNB All Star and Final Twelve Player of the Game, Eve Kalaha who scored 30 points, added 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for the double-double. Sophie Doiron added 11 points and 16 rebounds, Caroline Tucker had 10 points and 11 rebounds for another two double-doubles helping lead the team to victory.
Riverview were led by SSNB All Star and Player of the Game, Maddie Eustace with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
