3rd Banner 29 Years in the Making for Trimble

Harrison Trimble Boys celebrate big tonight after winning their 3rd provincial championship ever. Their last provincial tittle being 29 years ago in 1997.
After a tight 5-5 start just under 3 minutes in, the Trojans exploded on a 21-2 run that proved detrimental to the Black Kats, taking a 26-7 lead into the second quarter.
The Black Kats battled back in the second quarter, winning it 26–17 and cutting the deficit to 10. The Trojans led 43–33 at halftime.
It didn’t come easy, but the Trojans responded in the third, pushing their lead to 66-51 as the momentum swung back in their favour. Both teams battled on every possession, refusing to back down. The Trojans remained composed and carried that energy through the fourth, sealing a hard-fought 96-75 win.
The Trojans were led by SSNB All Star Karl Mondesin, who scored 22 points and added 8 rebounds, along with Bockarie Duoe who recorded a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. SSNB All Star and Final Twelve Player of the Game Bryce Mackenzie also made a huge impact, posting 18 points and an impressive 11 assists for another double-double. Divine Andrew’s added 12 points, 9 rebounds and Jackson Capson-Njoku chipped in 12 points.
Fredricton was led by SSNB All Star and Player of the Game Teddy Worley with 34 points and 8 rebounds. Westin Clark followed with 11 points and 6 rebounds, while SSNB All Star Eric Desaulniers added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
